Before the first storm: what to do about snow plowing

Reserve your pass before it snows. We take 40 homes for the season, then close the list. A $100 deposit holds your spot.

Reserve first

A pass is 12 plows for $425 to $750. We take 40 homes, so the list closes. The deposit is $100 and is fully refundable until November 1. Reserve my pass.

Six things to do in the next two weeks

  1. Mark the edges. Put stakes or reflectors along the driveway edge, the lawn, and anything low like a curb or a garden bed.
  2. Tell us what is hidden. Sprinkler heads, loose pavers, a mailbox post, a drain. Text a photo.
  3. Pick the pile spot. Snow has to go somewhere. Tell us where you would like it.
  4. Know your town's parking rule. Cars on the street can be ticketed or towed during a ban. Find your town.
  5. Sign up for your town's alerts. The rules page links each one.
  6. Check your walks and steps. Add a rail, salt, a shovel by the door. We can shovel walks as an add-on, $120 for the season.

When it snows

You do not call us. At 2 inches or more we plow once the snow stops, and we text you when we start and when we finish. More on the 2-inch trigger.

Questions

When should I reserve a snow plowing pass?

Before the first storm. We take 40 homes for the season and then close the list, so waiting can mean no spot. The $100 deposit holds your place and comes off the total.

Can I cancel?

The deposit is fully refundable until November 1.

When is the balance due?

December 1. The deposit comes off the total.

Do I need to be home when you plow?

No. Move cars off the driveway the night before if you can. You get a text when we start and when we finish.

What if I forget to mark my lawn edge?

Text us a photo before the storm and tell us where the edge is. We will plow to the line you give us.
