Snow removal contracts for condos and businesses
Plowing, sidewalks and salting at 2 inches, with a time-stamped photo log of every visit. Sign by November 1 to lock your spot.
Four questions boards and managers ask
Will the sidewalk be clear in time?
Many towns fine owners who miss the deadline. Deadlines differ by town: for example Medford gives 8 daylight hours, Somerville 6 daylight hours, Malden 12 hours for businesses and buildings with 5 or more units, and Wakefield 24 hours. We clear your walks and log the time. See the rules by town.
What if someone slips?
Every visit gets a time-stamped photo log: when we arrived, when we left, and what it looked like. You get it on request or as a monthly summary.
When do you come?
We plow at 2 inches. We aim to start within about 4 hours after the snow stops. That is a target, not a promise, and it goes in the contract in writing.
What does it cost?
One seasonal price after a site walk. Condos usually run $2,500 to $6,000. Salt is $120 to $250 a visit. These are draft ranges, not quotes.
Rules change. Confirm yours with your town. We do not start commercial contracts until insurance is in place.
